We now have a hobby shop in Helena again. Be sure to check it out and let Ben and Aaron know how much we appreciate their hard work.

Safety is our main concern, right above having fun at the field. We abide by all of the rules set by the Academy of Model Aeronautics and they can be found at http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/compreg.aspx.

Located in Helena, MT., we are a Radio Control Aircraft Club of over 80 members.
We have a nice flying field only 5 miles from town, with a basically east-west runway and fly from the south side of the field, so the sun is rarely a problem.
Our field is a semi paved field using a ground covering material that is topped with driveway sealer to provide a smoother surface and help control the dust. It is very resilient and easily repaired.
We have separate starting stations, pilot stations, and workbenches.
We also have a separate helicopter area with it's own stations.
Visitors are always welcome.
Our club meetings are on the second Thursday of the month and are held at the Lewis & Clark Library in Helena at 7:00pm. |
